Open Positions

Softball Director

Duties of the position include:

  • Being an active member of FCYSO Team and attend necessary FCYSO meetings.

  • Partner with the high school coach to develop a true 1st grade - 12 grade program to ensure our players learn the fundamentals and are prepared for high school play when they get there. 

  • Assist with registration set up. This includes pricing of season. 

  • Roster teams and assign coaches and team parents.

  • Manage inventory, ordering and distribution of team equipment.

  • Uniform selection, order, and distribution.

  • Organize a coaches meeting.

  • Overseeing program development and having dialogue with parents and coaches about the evolution of players in the sport. 

  • Organize schedule and get teams into their respective leagues. 

  • Facilitate game and practice schedules through the city scheduler.

  • Monitor and support coaches and team parents throughout the year.

Concession Stand Director

Duties of the position include:

  • Being an active member of FCYSO Team and attend necessary FCYSO meetings
  • Stocking and handling and buying of concession items
  • Manage inventory, and restock when items are needed
  • Buy items that sell- set prices 
  • Manage both the main concessions and the JC Field concession
  • Make sure all games are staffed to work
  • Provide instructions on what needs to be done for cleaning before opening and closing the concession stand 
  • Provide a number where items can be texted that will be needed for the next game
